Problème avec le mail checker Kaspersky et Outlook

Concerning to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP4

It might happen on PCs with installed and running Kaspersky Lab software. The incoming mail virus scanner is working, yet the Mail Anti-Virus component control plug-in is not present in the mail client. It means that the Mail Anti-Virus component is started and running, but for some reason its control plug-in does not appear in the mail client.
To deal with such situation, it is recommended that you manually unregister and then register again control plug-in libraries.

 

InformationAdministrator account permissions are required to be able to unregister and register again libraries.
If you are using Windows Vista, it is recommended to disable User Account Control (UAC) while you unregister and register libraries.

 

If you are using Outlook Express (Windows Mail) mail client

 

  • In order to unregister the kloehk.dll library
    • close the mail client;
    • click Start;
    • click Run;
    • copy and paste into the field Open the following command: regsvr32 -u « C:Program FilesKaspersky LabKaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP4kloehk.dll »;
    • make sure that the library has been successfully unregistered and click OK.
  • In order to register the kloehk.dll library
    • click Start;
    • click Run;
    • copy and paste into the field Open the following command: regsvr32 « C:Program FilesKaspersky LabKaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP4kloehk.dll »;
    • make sure that the library has been successfully registered and click OK;
    • start the mail client.

If you are using MS Office Outlook mail client

  • In order to unregister the mcou.dll library
    • close the mail client;
    • click Start;
    • click Run;
    • copy and paste into the field Open the following command: regsvr32 -u « C:Program FilesKaspersky LabKaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP4mcou.dll »;
    • make sure that the library has been successfully unregistered and click OK.
  • In order to register the mcou.dll library
    • click Start;
    • click Run;
    • copy and paste into the field Open the following command: regsvr32 « C:Program FilesKaspersky LabKaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations MP4mcou.dll »;
    • make sure that the library has been successfully registered and click OK;
    • start the mail client.
